Book a conversation

We make AI not a threat, but part of your institution's value proposition.

We turn your traditional educational institution into an AI-native one.

We help schools and universities bring AI into every process: from how the institution is run to supporting assessment with a conversational Socratic agent.

The traditional way students use AI has a serious problem: it just gives them the answers, and they stop reasoning or learning. They turn in perfect homework and essays, but skip the process of reaching those answers.

Leaders

Beyond students' use of AI, they know there are opportunities to optimize the institution's processes by implementing AI, but it is hard to have a map of where to start and which risks to watch for.

In the classroom

A well-written paper no longer shows whether the student understood what they needed to understand in that subject. One-on-one oral assessments show what each student really knows, but it is impossible to do that with everyone.

In families

As time goes on and AI advances, parents will value institutions with good practices that ensure their children are really learning while using AI productively.

How can we help you?

Start where your greatest need is today

You can start with the strategy for the whole institution or go straight to the classroom. Both are part of the same transformation cycle for your institution.

For owners, heads of institution and IT directors

AI-native diagnostic

You will know where AI can add value in your institution, what to watch for and where to start. You get a 12-month roadmap with quick wins.

  • We gather input from key people at every operational level to get an accurate picture of your processes
  • Workshops with leadership to prioritize by impact, effort and risk
  • Drafting of the AI policy and criteria for choosing tools

Steps 1, 2 and 5 of the circle

For academic directors and teachers

Conversational Socratic agent

A tool that leads students to explain what they learned in a conversation guided by their teacher's rubric.

  • 10 to 15 minute conversations, by voice or in writing
  • The teacher receives the transcript and a suggested grade based on their rubric, and decides the final grade
  • Dashboards with strategic insight by class and by subject

Steps 3 and 4 of the circle

How we work

The complete learning circle

A 5-step cycle. We set the direction and priorities with leadership, apply the agent in the classroom, and the results go back to leadership.

  1. Diagnostic

AI conversations with all your staff to learn how they use AI today and what worries them. Results are shown by group, never by person.

  2. Diagnostic

With leadership, we choose where to start based on impact, effort and risk, and we write the AI policy.

  3. Socratic agent

We bring AI into the classroom with the Socratic agent, and into management with the tools you already have.

  4. Socratic agent

AI converses and suggests. The teacher reviews, adjusts and has the final word.

  5. Diagnostic

Leadership sees what students understood and what changed in management. With that, the circle starts again.

Talk to the agent

This is how it talks with a student. And this is what the teacher receives.

A ninth-grade student explains her report on photosynthesis. The agent doesn't give her the answer: it keeps asking until she corrects her own mistake.

Science · Grade 9Assessment mode · in writing
  1. AgentI read your report on photosynthesis. In your own words: what does the plant do with light?

StudentIt uses it to make its food, glucose.

  2. AgentGood. In your report you say the carbon in that glucose comes from the soil. Think of a 50-year-old tree: if that were true, what would happen to the soil around it?

StudentIt would get used up… but that doesn't happen. So it comes from the air, from CO₂.

  3. AgentExactly. How would you explain it now to a seventh-grade classmate?

StudentThe plant takes CO₂ from the air and water from the soil, and with light it turns them into glucose and oxygen.

Corrected a mistake during the conversation: she thought the carbon came from the soil. She ruled it out with an example and reached the CO₂ in the air on her own.

The teacher at the center

AI converses. The teacher decides.

The agent does what a teacher with 30 students can't: listen to each one explain. The grade and the judgment remain theirs.

Their rubric

The agent converses using the criteria the teacher already uses. It doesn't impose a rubric of its own.

Their final word

Every grade is a suggestion. The teacher reads the transcript, reviews and adjusts it before publishing.

Their way of teaching

They can use it for practice before a test or for assessment, ask for spoken or written answers, and choose a calmer or more dynamic pace for their class.

Their systems

Grades are exported in the format the institution already uses to import them.

Security and data

The data belongs to your institution

Lernix respects and complies with the data protection regulations that apply in each country. We explain it in plain language so you can explain it to your community.

Your institution owns it

Lernix processes data only on the institution's behalf and for the contracted service.

We don't train AI on your data

Neither we nor our providers use personal data to train AI models. Signed agreements guarantee it.

With families' authorization

Underage students use the agent with the consent required by the law of their country.

No diagnoses

We adapt the pace and the way of responding without asking for or storing health diagnoses.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask us before getting started

If your question isn't here, write to us and we'll answer you in person.

Does the agent replace the teacher?

No. The agent talks with each student and gives the teacher the transcript and a suggested grade based on their own rubric. The teacher reviews, adjusts and decides.

Why not just use ChatGPT or Gemini?

A general chatbot answers whatever it is asked. The agent is designed to ask: it doesn't give the answer, it asks the student to explain and apply what they learned, and it gives the teacher evidence organized by their rubric. In addition, the data stays under a contract with your institution and is not used to train AI models.

Does it work for students who learn differently?

The teacher can ask for spoken or written answers and adjust the agent's pace, calmer and more structured or more dynamic. We don't ask for diagnoses or make clinical promises.

Is it a cheating detector?

No. Lernix is not an anti-plagiarism tool. Its goal is for the student to explain what they learned and for the teacher to see what they understood. For assessments with an integrity guarantee, we recommend using it in class and in writing.

Which countries do you work in?

Lernix is available to institutions in the United States and Latin America. We work remotely and in person when needed, and the agent converses in Spanish and in English.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the size of your institution and where you start. We explain it in the first meeting, with a tailored proposal.
