Lernix Socratic agent
An agent that talks with each student to assess what they really learned
Adjust the pace and format for those who learn differently.
A 10 to 15 minute conversation with each student, guided by your rubric. You receive the transcript and a suggested grade, and you decide.
How it works
Three steps, and the last one is yours
With your rubric and your material
It can start from the work the student turned in or from the topic you are teaching.
By voice or in writing
The agent asks, requests examples and follows up on each answer. It doesn't give the answer.
Transcript and suggested grade
You see what each student understood and where they went wrong. You review, adjust and publish.
Why explain
Explaining a lesson as if you were teaching it helps you understand it better than just studying it again.
Fiorella and Mayer, Contemporary Educational Psychology, 2014. Laboratory study with university students.
The agent turns that idea into a daily practice: each student explains, applies and defends what they learned, without you having to listen to them one by one.
For every classroom
It adapts to your class
Two modes
Practice before a test or assess at the end of a unit, with the same rubric.
Spoken or written, and at their own pace
You choose whether they answer by speaking or writing, and whether the agent goes calmer or more dynamic. Without asking for diagnoses.
Converse in English or in Spanish
Students practice speaking and listening in the other language about what they are learning in class.
For leadership: the understanding map
Academic leadership sees what students understood by class, subject and topic, and where to reinforce.
For companies too
The same agent automatically validates what your staff learned in onboarding and training.See companies

Questions
What teachers ask
From what age can it be used?
From age 11, with the consent of parents or guardians required by the law of each country.
Can students cheat?
Lernix is not an anti-plagiarism tool, and students can try to cheat by voice or in writing. If you need an assessment with an integrity guarantee, use it in class and in writing.
How long does it take me to prepare an assignment?
As long as it takes to write the prompt and paste your rubric. We support you through the first assignment.
Do the grades go into our system?
Yes. They are exported in a file with the format your institution uses to import grades.
Which languages does it converse in?
Spanish and English.
